You can
enjoy your Mountain Springs Spas both indoors and outdoors.
Designed to cope with the very harshest climates, your
Mountain Springs Spa will have no problem coping with the
worst of our winter weather. In fact, there is nothing
better than sitting in your warm and relaxing Mountain
Springs Spa and looking up at the stars when there is snow
on the ground.
- Will my Mountain Springs
Spa need a cover?
Yes. Indoors or outdoors, your
Mountain Springs Spa will need a suitable hot-tub cover to
keep in the heat and the steam and keep out dirt and the
elements.
- What base does my Mountain
Springs Spa need to be positioned on?
Ideally
every spa or hot-tub should be placed on a solid, strong and
level base. Concrete and paving slabs are perfect for this
task but many people are now using carefully laid wooden
decking as an attractive alternative. However, it is
important to make sure that any base is strong enough to
carry the full weight of your Mountain Springs Spas spa or
hot-tub when it is full of water. Your Mountain Springs Spas
dealer will be able to offer you advice and design ideas and
possibly quote for creating a base for you.
- What electrical requirements are
there?
To heat your Mountain Springs Spas spa or
hot-tub, it will need access to an electrical power supply
of 16 Amps or 32 Amps (Timberwolf and Grizzly Royale only).
The electrical supply should be as close to the spa or
hot-tub as possible and should be connected by a qualified
electrician, as they are not plugged-in. The 32 Amp spas
will need a rotary isolator within one meter of the spa.
This will also need to be fitted by a qualified electrician.
- What plumbing and drainage
considerations are there?
The side of every
Mountain Springs Spa or hot-tub comes away to reveal a drain
tap, to which a hose-pipe can be connected and water
channelled directly to a mains drain. If your Mountain
Springs Spa is inside you will need drainage underneath with
a submersible pump connected to a drain nearby or outside.
- How do I fill my Mountain Springs
Spa or hot-tub?
Simply with a hose-pipe!
- How long will my Mountain Springs
Spa take to heat up?
It varies depending upon
the volume and temperature of the water, and the ambient
temperature. It should be no more than a matter of hours.
- How do I clean my
Spa?
Cleaning is best done when the spa is empty
and there is a range of suitable cleaning materials
available. We recommend that you clean the filters once a
month by removing them from the spa and giving them a
high-powered jet wash.
- Will it need
servicing?
There is no fixed servicing schedule.
- What chemicals will I
need?
There are basically three chemicals
required: Bromine or Chlorine, to sanitize the water, and PH
increaser and reducer, used to adjust the PH balance of the
water. In addition, there are other optional chemicals, such
as anti-foam, no-scale among others.
- How often will the filters need
changing?
The filters will need changing at
